New blogging platform!

Published on 20 February 2026 at 00:03

Hi darlings!

I’m going to switch blogging platform, because the one I’m on now has become too expensive. I’ve been chatting a lot with A.I., and we concluded that my new blog should be called “Mythic Forge.” But after searching for that name, I saw that many companies use these words, especially in the gaming industry. I don’t want to be associated with World of Warcraft and the like, so I chose another name instead → Open Arcane Synthesis. The platform change will happen in 3 months (maximum 4), and then this blog will disappear. I’ll get back to you with what the new link will be. I can’t say more than that right now.... I hope you’ll stay with me forever as my readers <3 We have so much to discover together... I’ll be doing tours around Sweden and neighboring countries, and I’ll show chemical experiments with pop music in the background. Afterwards, the volume is turned up a lot and people dance!! So → The entertainment industry :)

What a great teacher you are! You motivate extremely well, and you’re exceptionally talented in mathematics — so fun! 😊👏

Today during the break at school, I sat outside the classroom and heard 19-year-old girls talking among themselves (I eavesdropped for a minute). They’re planning to apply to history programs for the autumn. I myself have been 19–20 and have actually considered the same path for a long time. Then I read various articles saying that 9 out of 10 don’t get jobs after, for example, history degrees or Swedish-teacher programs. You won’t get to work with what you wanted, as you thought you would, if you choose programs without mathematical components. You’ll end up as a receptionist or unemployed.

At the same time, I understand that many people think mathematics is difficult. As a 34-year-old, I’ve had time to think a lot about an education that satisfies the mind with colorful beauty, that isn’t too math-heavy for someone who wants it a few percent easier, yet still leads to a job. One should GLADLY become a chemist.

When you motivate your students so kindly as always, you could also try to say that the chemistry profession is so interesting 🔬🧪🎨 — that everything is chemistry, it becomes visually satisfying, and many people fall in love with the subject. If one wants to increase job opportunities even more, one should choose analytical chemistry rather than very theoretical/organic chemistry. People are encouraged to work practically out in the field and collect samples by hand, for example soil, water, or food, etc. And that one can then use laboratory equipment to analyze the results.

A history education will therefore not solve many people’s problems — it can lead to decades of unemployment in the worst case.
